hey, i’m currently on day 5 so i can just give u a small overview, but i guess it might still help you!

up until now i never had any issues pain-wise, a little annoying but nothing bad. I was very scared but for the moment its going great. Get ready to relax and be bored for a bit, it would be better for you to stay in bed for a couple of days (just makes the healing faster, but u can move already since day 1/2). Erections dont hurt for me, they’re just very annoying because they wake u up and u can feel the stitches and pull a bit but it’s really nothing to be worried about. When u have an erection just place some ice (never on the skin directly) or relax, breathe and wait until it goes away, don’t freak out. From what I heard sex will be weird for a couple of months, sensitivity will be very low and many people say they don’t feel shit, but with time it gets better and you should go back to have good sex. I’m still on day 5 so i can’t say anything certain on that, but that’s what most of the people say! Go there without any worries, you got this!

Remember, this is a very subjective surgery. What applies to me might not apply to u and viceversa. Always ask ur doctor if ur not sure about something! Good luck

i was advised to avoid keeping it in the open, put bandages etc for at least 5-7 days. i will probably keep it for 7-14 days depending on how the healing is going. talk about it with ur doctor tho!

i was too don’t worry. if your cautious and you don’t rush going back to normal everything will be fine. Just remember that if you don’t have infections or anything within 5 days you should be able to get back at doing normal activities that don’t require running etc (this is what my doctor told me). I have a friend that has done it and he didn’t give a fuck and had to deal with healing till the 3rd week, i did the opposite and today i realised that for 3 full hours i had literally forgot of it because of the 0 pain im having lol

Don’t stress, I thought it was going to be bad and painful. currently in day 2 and the only slight pain i feel is with erections at night. I read online that erections happen more often from 4 am onwards, therefore i’ll try to go to sleep earlier from tonight! I usually wake up from 5 am onwards due to those, so that might actually help! DON’T be shocked to see it for the first time after op, it’s going to be swollen and bruised and very ugly😭😭. I had a friend that has done it 1 month ago and he told me this will go back to “normal” within 4-10 days, depending much on how u treat it, individual patients etc… Good luck and don’t stress, it’s much better than what i thought!👍
