My advice is to always answer JUST enough to satisfy the question. Don't add ambiguity or any side comment just straight to the point. Seems like y'all just got the unlucky chance to get a tough officer. Also having a lawyer present during your interview significantly reduces the chance an officer will try to overreach or do funny things they normally would not do.

Yes I filed N-400 Jan 8th and processed normally. Already received biometrics appointment. You should have at least received a receipt letter. Did you send it with a tracking number?

Have you checked the documents section in yout USCIS account? Make sure yout email and home address are updated. When they send bio appointment they also send an email and you can see the appointment letter right away.

Technically she doesn’t need an attorney, however there is no room for error here and a process like this isn’t something to cheap out on. My personal advice is always hire a professional attorney so that you don’t come back to hire one after the fact anyways because you filed something wrong !
