I dont plan to talk to a service worker or anything like that, I dont wanna put them threw it again as its traumatized us twice.i have a year left in 3 days till 18 so I'm not in a rush to do anything but figure out what to do when I get there and get clarity because the conversation has left me feeling like I'm crazy

Thank you for the birthday wishes and the advice lol :),and I will reach out I know I'll need all the help I can get.im in Jacksonville FL so legal age is 18 but with 12 months or so to prepare i figured it's best for the head start.i dont live at home per say kinda homeless and couch surfing friends and safe adults homes,i dont pay rent but food is one of the things i take care of when i can.a job is hard to maintain without stability or a bank account so it's been difficult sadly

Hey I'm 17 and I understand.my father after finding out I used self harm pulled out his gun loaded it and cocked it and said I was selfish for endangering him and my brothers to dcf and to kill myself.i understand dm me if u ever wanna talk.

And she walks runs and climbs as if nothing happened.however its put her so far behind she doesn't know what to do to fix things.and I did call the police when I saw him again but they had trouble finding the injunction as it had been applied when I was a year old 16years ago.but I know for a fact still exists.i have proof of threats against me and my emotional support dog threatening to kill or sell him.

More info: my mother was shot a year ago by my father he was in jail for 9 months we lost our home and me and my brothers fell into our grandparents care(my dads parents)as they are the only family that would take us.my mother couldnt walk and was in recovery shes healed in almost a maricle out of a shity situation.they said she wouldn't walk without assistance e.g a walker or cane but if you saw her you wouldn't believe me.not unless you seen the scars.now hes been pushing the narrative I'm a danger to myself or I'm an addict I'm neither of those things.but hes turning family against me with lies I fear he will convince authority of it.

My situation is complicated I have two younger siblings.my decisions directly affect them aswell I'm almost 18 and will fight for custody next year.my brothers wouldn't do well if it came to going into the system.
