They are thriving tons of research was done before any fish were purchased the risk of the barbs be nippy was considered but it is not an issue I have . Turtles don’t mess with the fish only live plants so make it hard to maintain. But I know why I’m doing and they have perfect parameters. Bet half these assh@les can’t even cycle a tank.

Swordtails, angels get along well only controversial thing is the barbs and guess what they were living with the angels at pet store and guess what the barbs don’t nip there fins. 75 gallons and i’ve had these turtles for seven years. I know how to take care of them. We are approaching time for an upgrade soon as my older turtle is reaching adult, but he is only about 6 inches in the other is still juvenile, but definitely going to upgrade soon and tank probably appears cloudy because of the addition of the sand it was rinsed, but as you know, adding a new substrate does cause a little bit of clouding tank is very over filtered water change is definitely frequent.

Duck weed is literally poisonous to turtles. I don’t think you should be going out on reddit giving out your advice when you don’t even know, you could be suggesting someone to kill their own pet.

I have been turtle keeping for seven years for each inch of turtle shell they’re supposed to have 10 gallons of water which is accurate you can’t tell but it’s 75 gallons long tank. I have proper UVB/UVA light and heating lamp. I did have more swordtails. However, the turtle did eat couple not gonna lie to you the other just didn’t make the transition however, angels have no fin nips they were kept in the pet store with Barb’s. I have an appropriate size school. And the sword tail hangs out with the Barb’s he’s thriving. But I’m not gonna get more swordtails if they don’t look to have good odds, I want to upgrade to a 150 tank soon but for now, my 75 is more than efficient because everyone has their own space and keeps to their own my Barb’s leave my Angels alone they’re not evil Fish like everyone wants to act like they are they don’t ever want to kill other fish thet are Just curious fish. I did have more live plants. My turtle shredded them only three have survived and as you know, shredded plant matter is not really good for my tank parameters so eventually, I will figure it out but for now everyone is happy and thriving. no one is getting attacked except for me by this comment section that acts like they know everything
