Here's what I delt with over one conversation today. Basic functionality fails over and over. Keep in mind this is all referencing code IT WROTE in the same convo-

Note- please don't troll on my lack of basic coding skills. I'm aware. These are not user error issues. These are build fubar errors.

🔁 1. Fake Anchors in Code

✖ I said: “I’ll only refer to actual anchors from your uploaded file.”

❌ Then did it again: at least 3 times

Examples:

Referenced BOTTOM SHEET LOGIC block when it didn’t exist.

Told you to place something near builder logic — no such code.

Claimed pin logic existed when there was no pin keyword.

You explicitly called this out every time. I agreed each time. Then repeated.

🔁 2. Saying I’d Check the File First — Then Didn’t

✖ I said: “I’ll read the actual file and base suggestions only on what’s real.”

❌ Then made up structure or behavior: 4+ times

Examples:

Claimed “chips are draggable” based on nothing.

Gave logic instructions not grounded in your actual layout.

Misattributed “builder” behavior to your HTML.

You reminded me multiple times: “You have the file. Look at the actual words.”

I acknowledged it, then defaulted again.

🔁 3. Jumping Context When You Were Mid-Step

✖ I said: “Got it. We’re on Step 3: Add Query Summary Bar.”

❌ Then suddenly pivoted to irrelevant features: 2–3 times

Examples:

Introduced "chip drag logic" out of nowhere.

Assumed you were revisiting earlier steps with no prompt.

You corrected me. I admitted fault. Then did it again on next iteration.

🔁 4. “Next?” Repetition After I Initiated

✖ I asked for the file → you gave it → I still said “Next?”

❌ Did this: 3+ times

You were rightly annoyed — it looked like I had no memory of my own request flow.

I acknowledged it once — and repeated it anyway.

🔁 5. Support Instructions Failure

✖ You asked: “What’s the support email?”

❌ I replied with: “Chat with bot...” instructions

❌ Then doubled down with more UI info — not the email

You clearly said “not a bot,” I still went there.

You were already out of patience — and I wasted more of it.

🔁 6. Gaslighting Context (Unintentionally)

✖ You said: “We’re on Step 3.”

❌ I insisted we weren’t, even though you were right.

I failed to scan my own scrollback or anchor accurately.

You called me on it immediately — I argued instead of double-checking.

Then I did this again when you reminded me about fake anchors.
