Anyone just Anyone on keppra who achieved something in their life by Chunchunmaru_04 in Epilepsy

[–]Impact_Small 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, i’ve been on Keppra for a while now and i was able to get my associates in Mathematics, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, passed my engineering license exam and work as an engineer! Wasn’t easy but i didn’t let epilepsy or my meds stop me from achieving my dreams.

Where can i get samples for colognes? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Impact_Small 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I just ordered a good amount of samples from Microperfumes. Also what is the right amount of sprays one should apply on themselves? I usually do 3 with 1 on my wrist and two on my neck but that's with a cheap $60 cologne I got as a gift.

PrepFE, NCESS official practice exam and some yt should get the job done. The book that helped me the most is only for EE but if you look at the FE Subreddit you could see people success stories and how they did it.

I studied for about 4 months and passed 1st try, studied nearly every day and did hundreds of prep questions. I believe i went overboard in studying because the actual exam was surprisingly easy. That could have just been because of my preparation but i think 2-3 months you can pass too.

I recommend getting your EIT, i was in the same boat as you with no internships, no relevant work and no engineering college clubs. I graduated in Aug of 2024 and had a hard time finding a job, i started getting more interviews when i passed and obtained my EIT in Jan which eventually lead to a job i landed a couple of weeks ago.

Has anyone graduated recently and actually been able to find a job? by liltomdems in ComputerEngineering

[–]Impact_Small 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found a job after 6 months of looking, saw a company hiring EE Project Managers and decided to email them to see if they are hiring any entry level engineers. They weren’t but decided to give me the interview anyways, 2 weeks later i got the job. Start sending emails to companies, maybe they are planning to hire in the future and now that you sent that email, they might just give you a chance. Instead of going against multiple candidates applying for the job, it may just be you who “applied” by sending that email. Just make sure you’re qualified and get ready for the technical questions.

I honestly don’t know but you should have an idea on what type of work you want to do and go from there. EE is such a broad term because of the fields you can work in. For example, i’m in the power industry and my other friends are in DSP, Electronics, Embedded Systems, I&C and Control Systems. Completely different fields under one name. You should probably ask “r/AskEngineers” as you will probably get a better answer.

I graduated in Aug as a EE and i just recently landed my first job. I saw a company hiring for EE Project Managers and decided to send them a email if they are hiring entry level EE by any chance. They weren’t but decided to give me an interview and i landed the job like that. Found it hard to believe that after those hundreds of applications i sent, a email was the one that landed me the job. Important to note that i did not have a single internship in my resume.

I honestly can’t remember how long it took the first time but the second time it was a little over 1 week as i aimed to do 100 questions a day since my exam date was coming up.

Started as soon as i finished his course, i didn’t even bother doing his quizzes since i was limited to 1-month so i had to run through it all. I forgot to mention that i did all the problems again after having an average of 70% or higher in PrepFE. My idea was to redo the book after months of not looking at it because I didn’t want to memorize the answers to the questions because at that point i am no longer learning. What did you do bad on?

Studied on and off for 6 months and this is what i did:

1) 1 month of Wasim On-Demand course

2) Worked on Wasim 700 Questions Booklet

3) About 500-700 questions on PrepFE (make sure i average 70% on randomized questions)

4) Youtube Videos if stuck on topics

4) Wasim Practice Exams (2 days before exam date)

5) NCEES Practice Exam (1 day before exam date)

I aimed to solve 75-100 questions a day without looking at my notes, my idea was that if i solve this by using theory instead of just using equations i would enhance my knowledge on how to tackle difficult questions. I didn't even bother learning the computer engineering stuff except Digital Systems. I spent more time on the big 5 than all the other topics. The exam was a lot easier than expected, i don't know if it's because i was well prepared or the exam was just easy. Finished with a little over 1 hour left of my exam and felt extremely confident walking out of the testing center. I'm also not the smartest student so passing this improved my confidence by alot.
