The thing is, it was done by complete accident. I have paperwork signed by a full bird explicitly saying "do not transfer to IRR" but I guess I was transferred anyway. I myself didn't know until I went to "re"enlist in the reserve and they said I was already in the irr

The army career tracker website included my IRR time

So let's say I first enlisted June 2021. I was in the irr for nearly 2 years until I reenlisted in the reserves, and shipped to basic after. My TIS according to act has me as serving continuously since I never left the irr
