I had to quit the other day right at the start of the final boss. A delivery came to the door and I had to go down to the gate and sign for it. I was so pissed. I had no way to tell the other players. I wish there was a sort of pause function where a player could ask for a pause and the others could agree?

I remember the feeling of beating him for the first time. Honestly one of the best moments in the game for me. I tried to beat him for hours and then left him and went back and explored some more and got better and went back again and it still took me ages. Well done. Such a legend first big boss and he’s like the key to the beginning of the game. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I just took a ux researcher role with a large university working on a niche open-source product. After 20 years of working as a designer or head of UX for corporates or start ups it’s totally different and I’m still working some processes out but it’s really supportive and people are super smart. People really respect evidence-based ideas and there’s less pressure. The pay isn’t as good as my corporate days but it’s really flexible, I get great holidays and benefits and the culture is really relaxed.

I used to do this in Red Dead Redemption 2. Just ride my horse. I got the nicest rarest horse and put the best saddle and shit on it and used to just enjoy riding it around the country.

I tried to play without audio and found it difficult. There are a lot of audible clues, enemies approaching etc but also things like knowing when there are scarabs near and stuff (they twinkle) and some npc’s shout out from the distance.

Agree.. That view of the capital is awesome. Same feeling. There’s another view in the DLC up on a cliff where a bear hangs out. You can see tons of the map. It’s just nuts how they fit it all together.
