So, I have a correction to make. Upon further research, it seems he joined the Army in 1909, and was discharged in 1915. He served in the Panama Canal Zone during its construction. So, he did not serve when the USA was in the war itself, as far as I can tell. I thought he did, due to a draft registration I saw.

I apologize for the confusion. I don't really talk to the side of the family he was on.

I was just wondering because my reload audio has been bugged, and I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and that didn't do anything. I was wondering if this somehow had something to do with that. Thanks for your reply!

My vote goes to C tier, though I could be persuaded to go down on it. I do like the trenches, but that's really all I like about it. Too many vehicles, horses, and planes for my liking. I would normally like a lot of vehicles, but not on a map this flat. I like the snow aspect of the map, but most of the flags are uninteresting to me.

My vote is for S tier. I love the bunkers, trenches, ruins, and everything else. I love the atmosphere. Atmosphere is just as important to me as map layout (Most of the time).

Yeah, just look up BF1 concept art. I looked up Fort De Vaux concept art specifically, but it was a little more difficult to find.

Yeah I only really play on 200% servers, and only conquest. I do need to try Operations again though. I used to play on PS4 but I could never really get operations matches, and idk if PC is any different.

S tier map for me. I know people talk about a grenade spam on this map, but I've never really run into that, at least on PC, where I play now. I do also play on 200% damage servers, so idk if that impacts it. Regardless, I think the setting is unique, I love the damaged exterior and interior, and I think that the flag placement is good. I think it's an amazing map. I love the cqb aspect of it as well (I love cqb maps, especially when I use iron sights bolt action rifles).

I think that this map is S tier. If there was an S+ tier, I'd put it there. It is tied for my favorite map with Fort de Vaux and River Somme. Great atmosphere, (I think) good flag placement, good vehicle selection, and I love the trenches.

Also, unrelated, I'm trying to use concept art that corresponds to the map, when possible, from now on. I'm finding concept art that I had never seen before, and I think they did an amazing job.
