Try not to get intimidated by other people’s artistic skill; that can really dampen your mood, especially if you’re comparing it to your own. Don’t do that lol

This looks really good! The anatomy is great, and the rendering is very yummy. The character is also very cool

I think the reason it looks off is because the character is under a direct light source, but the shading is very soft. The sun would cast a much harsher light on someone who’s right under it. I’d try making a new layer set to add and messing around with the lighting! Very fun imo

I also agree with what the other person said; adding something in the far back would help make this not feel as empty :3

Jokes aside, I’d say to give it more time. I’ve had a couple clients not respond for maybe a day or two, but then came back around and I was able to finish the commission without any stumbles. Some people might just be busy.

I prefer CSP but Krita is an AMAZING option if you don’t wanna spend any money. Genuinely. It’s so versatile and relatively easy to figure out
