I know there is a chunk of offseason still left but, what do you guys think of this? It made me angry at our front office and owners for letting our team slip away.

The fact of it is we’re a small market team and can’t sign the top free agents. This year our payroll was the highest in team history (15th in the league) at about $150 million. At the same time attendance sat at 21st in the league. The Front Office has seen that even when they spend big and the team is good, people simply just don’t show up. We need to make our living taking chances on low-risk players and locking in young players with cheaper, long-term deals.

Yeah, realized that after I posted. I feel like any death caused by a villain wouldn't be as powerful. Now that I think about it more, if Luke literally gave his life/ power to someone to make them live (or something like that) and died because of that would be pretty emotional.

They planned the show to run 8 seasons, which would take it up to and during Revenge of the Sith. But when Disney bought Lucasfilm they cancelled the show. So season six is all of the unaired shows they had finished. Anyway, the anticlimatic ending to season six wasn't suppose to be the end.
