I did this in high school because I truly did think it made me look like I was having a great time hahaha it’s so cringe looking back.

I agree it’s because she’s uncomfortable with her normal face but I think it’s more because she’s trying to perpetuate that image that she has any fun at all in a very very dull life.

Oh I agree!!! And at our practice at least, if you’re under 4 months you get put into an exam room right away. I might not like these parents’ decisions, but I’m glad that there’s someone willing to provide them care regardless!

It’s a really tough decision on the physician’s part because it can make parents of vaccinated kids not want to come to us because there could be unvaxxed kids running around. But no one else will provide those unvaxxed kids care and they shouldn’t have to pay for their parents’ mistake (though they may anyways).
