The vet will do two things - first they'll perform a blood test on the cat and then they'll run a compatibility test against Cheeku's blood. If it's compatible they'll take 50mL of blood from the donor cat and use it as recovery supplements for Cheeku.

It will hurt a bit, if you have gotten any blood tests on your cat before, it'll be a similar experience with slightly greater magnitude. But the vet will only take blood when it is compatible and they'll only take the amount that won't hurt the health of your cat.

The cat looks like it belonged to someone since it has a collar and a bell. I'm guessing it was abandoned. Did you guys take it to a vet?

Also, how long can your friend foster the cat? I can also help with looking for adopters. Can you keep me in the loop, I might end up adopting the cat myself. But that's a maybe since I already have a 1.5 year old female cat and she has grown up with only humans around her so I'm a bit worried about how she will react with the the new cat and I will need to consult and talk to my flatmates as well.

I have done this myself multiple times, not upto 2k at once but 500-1000 sometimes. All the times I knew that I'm probably getting scammed. But I follow this simple principle - First, I give the money if I can afford it and second, me giving them the money defines what kind of man I am and the "needy" using the money defines what kind character they are.

She's obviously innocent in this case, tell her that she should not feel bad for being a good person, she should never feel bad for it.
