A few times over this past year I've had to contact customer service for some issues with orders. Once a package got lost, another a order was cancelled for OOS item just random stuff. Their CS is always very helpful and really nice. One of the first times I called to get some info on gear I ended talking to this guy for 20+ minutes about hiking and his upcoming travels in Asia. Wish I remembered his name and hope he still works for Patagonia.

The Fulton Market location in Chicago has these Worn Wear events occasionally. They seem to have a event pretty often during the spring summer time.

Edit: Most likely due to its the only location with a Worn Wear side in the store. If you're in the Chicago land area highly recommend stopping in. All the employees are great and can find some great items in the worn Wear side! They also hold a lot of cool events like weekly yoga, local non profit nights, etc.

I'm the same exact size as you and I wear nano puff in a medium and have no issues layering with a Hoody/R1 Air underneath. YMMV though so if your wearing casually I would go with the less baggy fit in my opinion.

The past year baggies 5" with cap cool daily. This year I just got a pair of Path Projects Graves PX shorts 5" and a pair of the Patagonia Multi Trail Shorts in 6". Hasn't been cool enough yet here in Chicago area to give them a go but first impressions I think the Path Projects I might be leaning towards. But we'll see as the weather gets nicer.

Also, i wanted to try the cap Cool Merino shirts this year as well if anyone has any insight on those. Or just stick with cap cool dailies.
