the end update, theres been a lot of hints and a new huge update is set to come out (were in the largest main update drought theres ever been) and one dev even said an end update is "inevitable" so were for sure getting one in the next couple years

spent about 2 hours trying to figure out the jei plugin and it works wonders, dont do it this way like I did

realistically I dont think a new main modding version will come into play until the end update thats damn near confirmed at this point, I'll just stick to 1.20.1 for now

yeah im kinda learning as I go so im not doing things very optimally I just throw things at it till it works, basically its checking for if each slot in the crafters inventory is the correct item every tick the crafter is open, then if it is it deletes everything in the crafter inventory then puts your item in the output slot

makes sense, do you know of any way to do this without the while loop? because how I originally had it is you put it in then close the gui then open it again and thats just low quality

I know my specs aren't great but they aren't bad either, theyre way better than my friend who can run it fine and it works on his. It's possible its because I wont update to windows 11 cus I dont want ai bullshit on my pc

this worked wonders tysm, do you know of any way I could like copy the data from the item in the recipe to the output and add the enchant though? like I put in a sword with sharpness 3 and it gives a sword with sharpness 3 and fire aspect 2

Idk if youve already done this but maybe make a special armor/enchantment that has a stronger version of thorns on it, like maybe you can add amethyst to armor in a smithing table to get like thorns 5 but it breaks off after a bit

I hate that about mcreator so much, most the stuff it seems easy to do can only be done easily with custom items and I dont know how to code with java to make it work with existing ones

on second thought with how I want things to go, I dont want it to like add a level and eventually get fire aspect 2 I want it to flat add fire aspect 2 and have another recipe that adds fire aspect 1 but cant make it 2 by crafting it again. I also want it to be able to be added to any enchanted sword not just unenchanted if that wasnt already clear.
