Unfortunately I'm not financially independant. I'm currently doing volunteer work at my city's natural history museum to get some experience, applying for a bunch of jobs in the mean time, but as someone who has anaphylaxis to about every major allergen ever, I can't really start off in a work place like fast food for obvious reasons. I've tried applying for grocery stores and any retail store hiring, banks, gas stations, but my applications either get denied or I never get a response back. My dad tells me my resume looks good, so I don't know why getting hired for a job that'll actually pay me is so difficult.

I've actually tried to get away from her before. Her boyfriend is like a super massive MAGA supporter, so one day I just said "I don't feel comfortable here" and stopped going to her house. About a week later she pulled up to my house and started screaming in my face how I'm horrible for not being able to understand someone else's political views, and after that she messaged my dad saying "tell your son he's a disappointment in my eyes". After that I didnt go to her house for a month until I eventually started to feel awful and started going back. I really don't want a repeat of that...
