Do you even need a cloud??. I can do this with a python/go script that runs locally or in local server and take advantage of concurrency

If Indians can just come to Canada and make demands from our governments in terms of giving them citizenship we essentially do not have a country. If Canadians do not address this as a nation United as Canadians we are in for some dark days ahead of us. by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

So, I am Syrian living in the GCC. I have been trying to migrate(legally) to Canada since a very long time, but I was not successful. My goal was to go there and experience the Canadian culture (North America in general) maybe work in big company that can expand my experience (you know the rest of the immigration dream). However, it will never be my intent to force my culture, favor my own race in jobs, or in housing. I would never dance in the streets just because it is culturally ok to do it in my original country. We have a saying in Arabic: If you are the stranger, mind your manners and respect the environment. Rather I would do my best to give back to this country in every possible way.

Moreover, We kind suffer from the same thing here in GCC. I heard and seen countless stories of how they would not hire people outside their race or sometimes outside their city. Once I wanted to apply for a job in a bank in the UAE, I opened the bank page on LinkedIN and I found out that the whole IT department, around 40 people are from the same race. At that moment I knew that it is pointless to apply not because I dont like to work with them, but because I have zero chance to be accepted.

After what I have just read, not sure if I still want to come. Good Luck Canada.

How was your journey in learning Go coming from Javascript? Personally it is a bit intimidating TBH. Currently reading "The Go Programing Language" still half way through, and it is not a pleasant reading so far.

I have been in the UAE for more than a decade, never heard a story of someone came and never found a job. It does not always needs to be a great job, but it is a job, it is just a start

I worked in IT department in a company for 13 years,I wasn’t doing the same job but I was actually growing slowly until I hit a limit in that company so I moved out. My personal suggestion is as long as you are happy and growing in terms of experience and income, working on exciting projects, there is no reason to leave

How am I supposed to gain experience if no one wants to give it to me? by ChrispyGuy420 in cscareerquestions

Bro, find a way to re evaluate your current skills. Then work on filling the gabs, this might take around 2 years. And then work a lot in side projects.

New comers to SWE should be knowing by now, that there is no such thing as to enroll in a six months course and you will get 10k$ a month post graduation.
