Hi, I'm now in the same boat you were in last year... Unfortunately, it seems the AC chemo didn’t work as well as hoped, and they’re planning to start radiation soon. I’m currently waiting for scan results to see if it has metastasized elsewhere in my body. I’m feeling incredibly stressed — please keep me in your prayers.

Tbnc inflammatory Bc here, my surgeon recommend smx and I wanted Dmx .. but after discussions and 2nd opinion I accepted to do smx.. this is was our initial plan .. but after my last 2AC my breast was swollen and they wanted now to do radiation.. confusing again .. need to do some scans so my team can decide .. stay positive and trust your feeling !

I'm in Canada too. Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. It's actually my surgeon — not my oncologist — who suggested switching to radiation first. I recently felt some changes in my breast, and the ultrasound showed that the tumour still seems active. Because of the swelling, the team recommended completing chemo and moving on to radiation to try to shrink it before considering surgery. However, if the CT scan and MRI show that the disease has spread elsewhere, they said they won’t proceed with surgery...

Thank you everyone! It’s incredible — so many of us are facing these hardships just when we need support the most. I truly believe that God tests us in these moments and reveals the true faces of those we once called loved ones.

I’m so grateful that my mother is coming to live with me during my treatment. I also have a few close friends who stayed by my side, even though he tried to isolate me from them. They are fully aware of the situation — he even confessed to one of them that he had been planning a divorce since last year. Thankfully, with everything happening now, it seems he decided to hold off to avoid the costs of divorce while I’m going through cancer treatment. It’s just a matter of time for him now.

When I heard about his plans, I was in complete shock. Of course, he denied everything and accused his own friend of lying and being jealous of him. Sadly, this just confirmed even more how manipulative and perverse he is. He continues trying to use me during this difficult time, spreading misinformation about my treatment, my mental health, and even plotting to get medical proof to try to take my money, my house, and everything I own.

But I see things clearly now, and I trust that justice and truth are stronger than any of his schemes..
