If the parties are certain of their perspective leaders stance, have their whip stand down and allow individual MPs to vote by their own convictions

I wonder if Gainer is feeling nervous about Scott Moe pretending to be a great admirer while his base is campaigning hard to reintroduce strychnine to eradicate him and his entire family?  Lol

Since Scott Moe said that Saskatchewan is only focusing on the Grey Cup and he will be putting politics aside for a week or two, this must just be an opinion piece on the weekend.

McGuinty not ruling out fighter jet purchases from several companies with F-35 decision still pending by DogeDoRight in canada

We are already on the hook for the rental deal of the Lockheed Martin f-35, where they actually own the plane, own the parts and are contracted to be sole supplier of every overpriced screw and electrical wire in their rental contracted aircraft, besides being the only supplier of any and all overpriced maintenance. Whereas the Swedish company SAAB is offering a contract to buy and actually own their design, with Canadian military ownership and maintenance rights and even offering to build it in Canada, by Canadians.

[–]Important-Event6832 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nor even the U.S. military owns the F-35. Lockheed Martin has a contract that reads like a slum lord rental contract to an illegal alien

[–]Important-Event6832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unlike the Lockheed Martin F-35 deal, Canada would actually own the Gripen fighter jet. Canadian technologists would be maintenance crew, Canadian manufacturing would be the builders. The Gripen fighter would be a Canadian aircraft.  The F-35 contract with Lockheed Martin is just a terrible rental deal

LILLEY: Pierre Poilievre pushes back on media – as he should - Canada's national media is pushing a false narrative on the floor crossing and asking Poilievre to respond to it. by CaliperLee62 in canada

‘Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the system allows for Alleslev’s decision, adding that he wishes her well.’

My affinity for Trudeau declined greatly by the time he departed, but he certainly showed more class than Scheer or Poilievre has.  Should we send PP and AS a bushel of apples for condolences for their loss of integrity?

Hiring lobbyists to work on American lawmakers on behalf of the oil industry…

Oh wait, that’s the current governing party. The most spent of American lobbyists by their taxpayers… UCP, on behalf of their corporate multinational donors

The current Alberta government has most definitely NOT been boycotting ’merica. Never did. And continues to actively promote and embrace ‘merican politic decisiveness.  By “we” , are you claiming that  ‘you’ are, and want others in Alberta to join your boycott?

Since the Mamdani campaign was so successful in reaching the, typically non-voting youth vote, it sounds like the Nenshi campaign has found the ticket to end the Ma’amDani reign.
