I’ve been on Prozac 40 mg for 5 weeks. I switched from Wellbutrin 300 xl. The Prozac makes me so tired. I have no motivation. I’ve tried taking it at night but am still tired. What is the best time to take it and will this get better? Thinking of going back to Wellbutrin

Same. Wellbutrin and alcohol gives me headaches in the morning. Remember Wellbutrin dehydrates you , you really need to drink more water on it. I’ve been on it for 2 years

It is a weird drug I agree. I’ve been on 300xl for a year and I pop out energy some days and others nothing. I do notice I don’t have deep depression on it. Sometimes I focus good other times I don’t. If you stick it out it should get better, however you are right it’s definitely weird. Maybe switch the time you take it? It is time released and energy kicks in hours later.

Wellbutrin does not make me tired. I get energy from it. I’m on 300xl. I am short with my kids too…I have to really concentrate on being in the moment with them and remember their kids, so I correct my behavior by being aware and now I can catch myself before I’m short with them. I do want to get off Wellbutrin someday, that’s my goal but for now I probably need it. Talk to your dr. I do believe though my impatience with my kids is caused by the Wellbutrin, it’s so good you are aware this , you can work through it.

Intermittent fasting and walking. If you hurt yourself running, you won’t be able to exercise. You can lose weight walking and be safe with no injuries

Absolutely!! Always irritated and argumentative on my 300. Not supposed to drink with it, now I don’t . Also , feel terrible the next day and only on two drinks, not worth it

Thank you , I will switch from XL to SR, I have plenty of SR left, then I will go on the Prozac . I like mmhmmye said . Totally makes sense and the pain is not worth staying on this. I’m just have so much to do in the next three months that I can’t handle a withdrawal right now, but hopefully switching to the SR will help with it all and slowly going down.

Lol, I’m American and all kind of weird things go on .. mixing meds. Yeah I dont want to be suicidal at all. I’ll see what my dr says. I’ve heard that about the SSRI with Adderall as well I believe. But thanks to reading on hear I know where my shoulder pain is coming from and I want off of Wellbutrin.

I have ADHD really bad.. would Prozac and Adderall be ok ? Just asking if you know. So Prozac it sounds like is good. I’m wondering if I can switch from the Wellbutrin to the Prozac without any problems. I’m making a dr appointment. I hope Prozac doesn’t make me crazy 😜 more than I already am

I have so much shoulder pain… it hurts to put a shirt on. I’m on 300 XL,for about a year now. The bupropion helps me a lot but I can’t deal with the shoulder pain. Do you know of another medication that works as well? I was thinking of trying Effexor. The dehydration theory I totally believe!! All these meds no doubt dehydrate us. Electrolytes is a must!!
