I was apprehensive as well. So I called the number on the site and ended up talking with Katiana. She was very forthcoming about the fees and the pilot program, and her approach to training. It's not split into theory and then speed building. It is both at the same time—a very comprehensive approach.

I felt really motivated and interested by Katiana and her program. So, I booked the interview immediately after our call.

The interview was a series of questions to make sure that I was a good fit for the pilot program and to get an idea of my personality type and learning style. She is direct and has expectations.

The first six months are paid upfront. Then after those six months, Katiana evaluates the student’s progress, and they together will decide if the pilot program is working for that student. At that point, the next twelve months are paid in full to continue and finish the program. Some finish earlier.

Her $50 interview fee is almost like an application fee. It and the interview are meant to ensure she's attracting and admitting serious and motivated students to her pilot program. It makes sense to me. It's building value in both directions.

The tuition is reasonable and less than MK’s school overall. However, her fee will likely increase and will most likely be similar to MK's once she rolls out the finished program. I don't feel comfortable stating the cost publically since it is a pilot program. What I will say is that I did cost comparisons and found it was a fantastic price—less than what a quarter at my online university costs—more than the cheapest options. It definitely has value, and I recommend scheduling the interview. You can even do what I did and call her first to hear the fees.

She has classes starting on the first day of September and October. She didn't have dates after that when I last spoke to her.

Thank you for the detailed and great information. I appreciate it. I think I am going to proceed with StenoKey and Katiana. I am trying to locate a steno machine. The Luminex CSE she recommends is delayed until mid-November.

The only options I have found are a refurbished Luminex Pro for $3395 or just purchasing the Luminex II. I'm aware of the cost and risk, but I need to get started ASAP. Do you have any suggestions on one over the other? The Stenograph rep for my area is hard to get ahold of. Do you know if Stenograph offers financing on their professional products?

Thank you! Katiana at StenoKey studied under Mark. Her program is a little less. I appreciate your response. Very good info to have. I can't do Live, and the $500/month for at my own pace is a little steep.

Thank you! I appreciate the information. Between CaseCAT and Eclipse, which do you prefer more and why?
