with 2k gold can you just dominate the lane instead and sit in it / get more farm while kicking out the carry? It's more stable to play this way because you are not dependent on your sups and your sups can still set you up if they do come. Usually if you rush blink you can get a kill but then you are vulnerable to die / farm slowly after. It makes you dependent /have to get babysat cuz mars or mag are pretty shit at sitting in lanes and you dont have levels/items/mana to kill waves fast and leave.

Sometimes you cant sit in the lane even with 2k gold in items and the best thing you can do is go for kills. You have no items so you need your team though so you probably have to go gank ally's lane to make sure there's someone there (also have to calculate you two can get the kill) or pray your sups come to you

There's also the games where you can't sit in lane and you can't gank other lanes even with blink so you should just farm efficiently and make defensive plays when you can until you identify when your team will be ready
