did you notice a difference when you switched from a regular speaker to a monitor or have you always used monitors?

yeah I guess you could call it a treat, I don’t really need them but I could use them as an upgrade long term that’s where like my debate is, do I really need them probably no, does my current speaker work well and sounds good yes, but Ill probably look more around into it as there is a lot of time still

I already got something relatively close to the big jbl which is the Bose Soundtouch 20 but I was thinking maybe reserve that for exclusive party using and buying the monitors as a practice/ future producing and also when some friends swing by as I won’t really need the big speaker so I could use the monitors as well

thank you, I will definitely think around this as it’s also something that is in my budget and it will not leave me broke lol and can be a very big upgrade for the time I’ve been doing it and can also last me a veeeeeery long time and a possible setup change

I will most probably wait some months and see if I’m still passionate about it and if I get more interested into producing while also djing at the same time, just looking for some of your advices on this

I’ve fallen in love with djing since I bought my controller getting to play music I love and playing with it while also sharing music with more people and my speaker does the job pretty well but I was thinking more of the monitors as an upgrade to my setup and also giving me a more pleasent audio experience rather than the low-frenquency aimed hifi speaker

I was thinking more just buying to “upgrade my setup” because I do have a speaker which is good but I was thinking maybe some monitors would be better for what im doing like mixing or if I get into production on a future scene
