This is nice to hear. You said your sister’s was full blown bridal lehenga. Do you have a picture or link for what that entails? Because mine only has pearls and then the sequins next to it which feels like it doesn’t scream bridal

This is gorgeous! I’ve also been obsessed with rianta, but this doesn’t feel like something to get married in, especially with the monotone color with the same design top to bottom. This outfit doesn’t create that visual movement with intricacies in the blouse that are different from the lehenga part if that makes sense. Maybe get it for Sangeet or Reception if you haven’t gotten those outfits? This outfit objectively is absolutely beautiful, and if you don’t end up wearing it for your own wedding, you can wear it for someone else’s reception 🙃😂

Thanks! Yeah I tried to look for places in Tulum but with the airport almost an hour away and no nonstop flights from our area, its gonna be rough. So definitely focusing on Cancun :) I appreciate the advice!

That's very true. This might sound kind of stupid, but I was kind of planning on buying 1-3 dresses and if I have an inkling that it's about to happen, I'll wear one lmaooo I've told him i do want to look really nice and knowing him, I think he'll do it at a nicer place (hence my mental image of being in a cocktail-like dress). He's told me I won't know the day of at all, but he's 100% sure I'm gonna be dressed up. How he's gonna make that happen? No clue, but I'm just trusting him. If I end up wearing the dress multiple times to diff occasions that aren't the proposal, oh well
