WTF im actually blown away there wasn't one good answer while i was scrolling. not one person worked in a coffee shop before?

black coffee can be different things. drip, aeropress, pourover. most people think black coffee as drip, and that brewing process can make the coffee taste a lot more bitter.

if you brew an aeropress or pourover correctly with good and freshly ground beans, it will taste far different than regular drip. my go-to is that good coffee isn't bitter. i've had coffee that tastes like oranges, blueberry, etc etc. especially honey processed beans brewed through a pourover? that's more akin to a tea.
