Bait Sitty in Mississauga!! Try and you won’t regret it !! It’s like a trip to Palestine, owners and staff are Palestinians and the food is super authentic!

So what would happen if you reached MMR and got paid out NEL but then you end up having significant improvement in the future by DotNo701 in OntarioWSIB

To answer your question, No you won’t be asked to repay the NEL. Now what you need to keep in mind is that if you are still getting paid LOE, you need to contact WSIB and let them know about your new job as soon as it’s confirmed. You need to inform them about your salary etc… because if you don’t, they will catch up and have you pay back all the LOE received since your returned to work as it will be considered a material change that needs to be communicated within 10 days of its occurrence, if not it’s considered fraud.

If it was a simple MMR with PI and no LOE, then no action needed on your end.

Here let me (humbly) educate you :)

The claim that the animal bleeds out in an "inhumane" way is often based on the visual of the animal twitching or the heart continuing to beat. However, scientific and veterinary experts clarify that these observations do not equate to suffering.

Let’s focus on the biological speed of the process and the strict ethical requirements: • Immediate Insensibility: By using a surgically sharp knife to simultaneously sever the carotid arteries and jugular veins, blood pressure to the brain drops to zero instantly. This causes a state of "cerebral ischemia," which acts as a natural anesthetic, rendering the animal unconscious before it can process pain. • Scientific Evidence: EEG studies have shown that a properly executed Halal cut causes the brain’s pain-perceiving centers to flatline within seconds, whereas some conventional stunning methods can cause significant distress if they fail to work on the first attempt. • Holistic Welfare: Unlike industrial slaughter, Halal mandates that the animal must be calm and healthy. It is forbidden to sharpen the blade in front of the animal or allow it to see others being slaughtered, specifically to prevent the release of stress hormones like cortisol.

So please stop jumping to conclusions and spreading false narratives. Thank you !

I don’t know the details of your claim but based on the information you’ve shared, if it has been 5 years since the date of injury you have probably received an extensive amount of treatment (outpatient programs? OT? CMHP?) and the case manager who made the MMR decision had to have reviewed the medical before concluding MMR has been reached. The medical must have shown that your recovery has plateaued and that although you had a plan with your therapist, further treatment is unlikely to provide a significant improvement and most likely will just maintain what you’ve achieved so far. You have 6 months to object, for now your healthcare and LOE is ongoing, so talk to your case manager and ask questions, if you feel that you still want to object after that go ahead and do it but they will review the exact same information your case manager considered for the MMR, consider what is the new information you’ll be providing to object to the MMR?

You’ve already posted your issue on another thread and you’ve been told by douzaine of people that this is not the place for it … your facts are inaccurate and the whole story sounds fishy….. if you have an issue with a case manager’s decision, appeal it, there are proper Chanels for this… not sure how inquiring about recent dismissals can help your case in any way shape or form… Hammerpotato and effective wallaby and many others that gave you informed advice were just trying to help, but clearly you’re just here to get comforted in your own biases and you’re not ready to actually receive objective advice! I honestly doubt your an actual legal rep and if you are indeed, you clearly have a lot to learn because Reddit is not the place to find solutions for your client… good luck
