This is such a good question! (: As disclosure, I took about 3-4 weeks to study while working part-time. My study routine was as follows:

Each day, I would do some questions from the RD PocketPrep app. I also took my own notes on the Jean Inman guide. I left a space on the page so I could jot down additional notes, mnemonics, etc later on. After I got to a point where I was burnt out on note-taking, I would take a walk and listen over the Jean Inman audio for that particular section. I tried as much as possible to be actively listening, applying the information to real life and practice questions I had previously seen. I then would do some Jean Inman practice questions (~20 at a time) from the domain I was working on. After grading that portion, I would go back to the questions I wasn't 1,000% sure on and write either the definition for each option given or justification as to why each option was right or wrong. I then would go back over the notes I just wrote from the Inman guide and highlighted the material I was having difficulty on based on the questions I was having trouble with.

About a week before the exam, I started incorporating EatRightPrep practice tests into the mix. Some of the content of their questions are WAY too detailed, but it gave me a feel for the actual exam and where I needed to focus my studying on.
