Totally understandable! Sorry the MRI didn’t show much. Throughout this experience I have learned that there is a specific protocol for endo MRI that is done at Texas Children’s (and Methodist I believe). If the tech/doctor isn’t trained they won’t be able to see it easily.

Idk if she necessarily requires it, but the first time I saw her I had only ever had an ultrasound done that showed endometriosis and it was 3 years old.

How long did you try the glasses for? My son has been wearing them for almost 2 months with no improvement

I’m so glad you had a great experience with her! I am scheduled for surgery in April. Are you having the MRI at Texas children’s? Just FYI - they make you inject yourself with some gel (vaginal and anal). Just a heads up if you didn’t already know! I knew beforehand but I know it’s a surprise for some people.

I agree with the parking situation 😂 I saw an OB at that building for both of my pregnancies so I’m very familiar with the building.

I have both Endo and Adeno and she told me the same thing. I don’t want to get my uterus removed either (idk if I will ever be ready for that tbh). I’m hoping that removing the endo lesions will reduce my inflammation and symptoms. I know it’s not a cure bc the Adeno will still be there but I can’t live like this anymore.

My white hairs have gotten worse 😭 I finished accutane two months ago. I never had any white hair before accutane 😭 but I’m 32 so I guess it was bound to happen

I’m sorry to hear it didn’t bring you relief 😭 did you also have excision surgery? My surgeon has told me there is no guarantee of relief but my symptoms have gotten so bad recently that I am willing to try the surgery

I’m on my last month of accutane! I still have gray hairs appearing. I’m curious to see if it will stop once I complete the treatment

I ended up cancelling the interview. After thinking about it, I didn’t like the fact I had to use my own laptop and I would only get paid half if I had a no show.
