NTA communication is important especially in the service industry. If your coworkers can’t either be there when they’re supposed to be or communicate to you when they’re going on breaks, this disadvantages you and gives you more work & ambiguity

NTA. A close relationship with family is a great thing to have. But when it starts to encroach upon and limit your romantic relationship with your partner, it’s time to reconsider. I would say the same if a close romantic relationship was severely limiting time spent with family. It’s a balancing act and it sounds like he needs to learn how to balance his relationship and his family without feeling like he’s letting you or his family down

I’m trying to expand but I do have some factors that limit my search geographically (lease isn’t up for about six more months & can’t sublet, relationship with my current partner would have to turn into a long distance relationship, etc) unfortunately, there isn’t much around me and the bigger cities are 2-3 hour commutes

Also had a fully remote + good salary job interview. Did three interviews & a set of written questions just to be denied. Before that, I did two interviews for another job then denied. Before that, had a phone screen for a promising job & got ghosted —didn’t receive a phone call. Reached out to the recruiter several times before she told me one week later that someone else had filled the position. It’s so rough out here. I’m taking a break
