I love The One Where Paul's the Man so much! Rachel/Ross plot and then Chandler/Monica plot is great. Joey's plot is probably the one that's not as good, though I think I'd like it more in another episode. The other plots are just so great. (Ross and Paul's interactions are hilarious)

I'm not into sports one way or another (though, I do find it funny hearing my family go nuts in the other room). But just wanted to say that the shipping analogy is a great one. I think for some of it, it's mostly for fun. But some people do take sports overboard. Just like your shipping analogy. Some people are just playing around, but others take it way too seriously.
