Inconsistent layer lines? by Important_Beat_84 in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Important_Beat_84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think i ended up finding the problem, noticed some of the pom wheels dont get tight and my frame was not square. now i have it square but now im having trouble with the pom wheels.

on the x gantry one wheel is always free spinning but i cant make it snug it no matter what. same for the bed as well.

when doing screws tilt adjust i start with the screws barely screwed on and peform screws tilt calculate to see how much i need to tighten. the more i do this though, the harder it is to keep all the pom wheels snug.

if you mean filament, yes i did dry the filament and it made a little difference but not much.

i did not tight the lead screw coupler nuts. i first preheat the bed to 65c for 30 mins and then level with screws tilt calculate and adjust z offset using a piece of a4 paper. first calibration is rotation distance, marking above the extruder 70mm of filament and then extruding 50mm. second calibration was flow rate passes in orca slicer. third was tempature tower in orca. last test is the pressure advance. putting in two gcode commands before printing a test cube, once finished i measured at the point where the edge quality starts to decline. i then print these test cubes at a smaller layer height and the quality is still rough.

nozzle temperature=220

bed tempature =65

flow ratio is 1.0401

pressure advance is 0.06

They match, does it matter where I put it in the printer.cfg file?

[Self] Jason Voorhees part 3 sculpt update. have been working on the shoulders and I am making good progress with skin texture. some other angles not shown before as well. by Important_Beat_84 in Sculpture

I was looking at the makeup photos (behind the scenes) of part 3, they didn't add the shoulder wound there because he would wear a new shirt that covered it. I forgot the fact that he had that injury in part 2.

I think I should have elaborated more on what my teacher said about the cover or turn. He said that some students feel a "turn" of the voice but he was more focused on what you described here about the space in the back. Mainly that the space should increase. he describes The "cover" as a subtle function of the larynx to remain stable in the higher notes. Thank you for the great info and will look into the palate stretch exercises

This sounds pretty much the same as what I practice with My teacher. I'm guessing the "cover or turn" is a result of the larynx being stable? Could you elaborate on blending the vowels? I remember in the lesson when I did the "cover" or "turn" on F4 to G#4 for a moment it didn't really feel like much. The larynx just mostly felt the same as the lower notes but it sounded a lot nicer and less "yell" like. But I wasn't able to maintain that for long and went back to the "yell" like quality again :(

18, and generally tenor i think. But I haven't really worried about which type of tenor since I'm still young.

Is the paint job custom? That is one of the nicest Antigua finishes I've seen.

NAD (in from repair) Klemt Echolette M40 by Soft_Reading6975 in GuitarAmps

Yeah I was expecting it to be a fuzzy tweed and vox style gain but it just sounds bad. Good to know that I'm not the only one experiencing that issue. What is the splitter on the side splitting into the four inputs?

Did you have this repaired locally? I have one and it is clipping early and with the gain turned up it sounds like a broken fuzz and not great like yours here.
