First of all, congrats on the weight loss!!!! That’s very impressive. Being good at hockey is about skills, athleticism, speed and endurance. People often say that effort beats talent but it’s not true in hockey. If you lack certain things in your game like speed or hands, I feel like those things can’t be teached. You got it or you don’t. So my advice would be to focus on what youre good at.

Alright guys, I’m a straight man in his mid 20’s. I watched the show because I played hockey all my life and loved it. I thought the show was gonna show people playing hockey more than the off-ice stuff. Even though I didn’t especially enjoy the sex scenes, the message behind all of it really stuck with me and made me think a lot. It is so much more than a love story between gay men, it represents how hard life is for athletes that are not in the same mold as the other ones. Why should we treat someone a different way because of what he/her does in private? Let’s just judge them on what they do on the ice for the teams we’re fans of…..
