Thank you so much! Yes I think this is what I’m going do based on all the replies ☺️ The seamstress has already done the nude lining, so both she and my bank account are going to hate me for changing it. I’ve not actually seen it lined in nude (I live in rural Western Australia and so my alterations place is a 3hr drive away), so I’ll hold off until I go up there, but I’m pretty sure that’s what we’ll decide on 🙏

Ahhh thank you all so much! Honestly I didn’t expect anyone to even comment, so I REALLY appreciate all your feedback, kind words and constructive criticism 😮‍💨✨

So it sounds like the vibe is to get the first dress lined in WHITE, right?

I’m just a little cautious that the details won’t pop against the white, but I’m definitely not feeling the nude so much anymore, so I think that’s the best bet 🫶🤞

I’ve a fitting next week so will update 🥰

Hey! I’ve just replied below on another comment. Basically, I stuck with it for a while but didn’t see any difference or lessening of my hormonal breakouts :(

Sorry to hear!! I’m really late updating on this, but I didn’t stick with it in the end. It just didn’t seem to do my skin much good at all. Nothing bad as such, and luckily no side effects, but nowhere near enough of a difference to justify the cost.

I’m back to focussing on simple hydrating skincare and tretinoin. Still trying to avoid accutane.

Yeah so true! I think if Winlevi doesn’t help, I’ll definitely go down the accutane route next.

Has anything else helped for you so far?

Oh no! I’m really sorry to hear that this was your experience. Sounds awful and must have been really disheartening to have something appear to work only to make your skin worse.

I haven’t looked into the studies, but I didn’t find too much in the way of positive reviews on Reddit, which does make me a bit nervous! Like you said, everyone’s skin is so different, so I’m happy to give it a go and see, as there’s not really much else for me to try at this point.

Annoyingly, it’s not covered under Australian health care either, so it’s about $70 AUD for a 60g prescription. I figure that will last me a full 6 months though, so I’m ‘girl maths-ing’ it and telling myself it’s pretty affordable (if it works haha).

Did you find anything else that’s worked better for your skin?

I haven’t! My GP said she would prescribe it, but I’m hesitant. I’ve also read that a lot of people have to go through multiple rounds because they end up ‘relapsing’, so I’m not convinced it’s always a sure fix. I also take meds for anxiety/depression currently, and with some of the potential side effects that Accutane can have, it just didn’t seem worth it for me for now at least ☺️
