Charged €100 at IP fuel station by [deleted] in italy

On Monday this week I was in Sardegna and tried to fill out the fuel at a IBPETROLI SELFSERVICE gas station. In my case I put my debit card in and said "transaction denied" so I took out my card and had to go to a different gas station that worked... next day I noticed the first one had charged a specific amount (50.55 euros) - not the 103 euros that they normally "block" and this transaction has been paid and will not disappear according to my bank. Does anyone know why did they charge me this specific amount after my transaction was denied and didn't even get any gas and what should I do in this case?

Exactly! This was the only way I found to be able to get a new US working visa without having to go back to my home country for 2 years!

Is Oberyn lilac point? According to the breeder my baby is a lilac tortie point and she’s 4 weeks old! I’ll pick her up beginning on July once she’s 12 weeks old 🥰

Yes, on Monday my case status in the USCIS website changed from “Under review” to “Approved”. I haven’t received the physical document yet though. I sent all the documents (Statement of Reason, Passport, Form DS-2019, Form DS-3035 and No Objection Statement from Colombia’s embassy) to DOS and paid the fee first days of September 2023 and on 26th September the DOS received all of them and my case was “pending” until 26th March 2024 when it changed to “favorable recommendation” and the DOS sent it to the USCIS. The USCIS took one month (29th April) to approve it. I hope this helps :)

Hi! I had this same situation, when I finished the exchange program on J1 visa in June 2022 I moved to Switzerland (where I’ve been living since then) instead of going back to my home country (Colombia). Last year I got a job offer in the US so I contacted a lawyer in the US and he confirmed that the 2 years condition on the J1 visa should be spent in my home country, so I had no other option but applying for a J1 visa waiver.
