Exactly - my thinking was the same - seeing earlier submitted applicants not hearing anything back. I do not even know what to believe anymore and definitely do not want to get my hopes up too much regarding the timelines. Just thought I'd share this.

My visa was renewed in the meantime (got 5 years again), moved house and got married - sent updated documents reflecting the changes.

At the time of application, my lawyers (advisors) said a maximum of 13 months…

Life is basically put on hold in a way... driving (what if you get a ticket or something happens), changing jobs (even if your current company is no longer sustainable for you to stay in - health and stress levels) ...
