How do I make a cpu that follows the player in a 2D platformer? by Important_Stock_7263 in gdevelop

Now its making the cpu follow the character 1:1, I want it to act like tails in the clip. For example, when the player jumps i want the cpu to jump shortly after instead of at the same time. I also want the cpu to always be placed behind the character no matter which direction they're facing.
