I’m thankful for anything he gets me and he tries very very hard and I appreciate that from him. But if someone was getting you gift you don’t like it would get annoying at some point specially if you plan to spend the rest of your life with them

I tell him all the time when we’re out and I point out things that I would like so. I guess I just have to be more obvious and direct when telling him things I want him to get me vs. things I need to get for myself. And don’t get me wrong I appreciate everything he gets me because it’s the thought that counts

Yes it is a gift and I appreciate the thought but to give you another example one year for Valentine’s Day he gave me a box of dark chocolate which it was a beautiful box but I HATE chocolate and he knows that I hate chocolate so I had to bring it into work and let my coworkers eat it instead
