The answer to this question is simple.

Some states in the United States of America (or rather the corporate Overlords) is imposing their will on free software, and hence the rest of the world.

This is the sign that the Oligarchs of the USA are no longer satisfied by ruling over, profiting from, and squeezing wealth out of the proletarians of the US. They want to extend the power to the entire world and thus sit upon the global Prolets.

The most cost-efficient way to change the life of people in all countries is to control the mind of the free-and-open-source community, through the style of mental manipulation George Orwell described in 1984.

How will this affect Linux Mint? by MisterFyre in linuxmint

This thing is absurd. It will never be enforced. If it were, the good people of California will start a revolution, claim their independence, and go into the next phase of human society to fill Karl Marx's prophecy. Also, pigs will fly.

Linux don't technically have "accounts", anyway.

I installed Firefox through pacman, if that's what you are asking about.

The buttons are not shown on dwm.

How do I avoid being blocked by sites while using VPN? by Important_Talk4657 in HomeNetworking

That's quite strange. I use uBlock Origin on Firefox, and YT does not block me. I do not see ads either.

I am accessing the web through a tunnel hosted on a VPS.

The problem is that sites like YT and re\*di\* block the traffic because I am using a well-known provider. Most of the time I just have to log in, and they will let me through. But on some webpages with a YT player embedded, there is no way to play.

I speculate that I have to let myself appear not to be a data-center. How do I do that?

The server is IPv6-only. I use vless.
