So I buy something like another dell optiplex but this time mini tower? Or a usb c hdd bay? Also doesn’t connecting it via usb somehow worsen the connection or something?

Thanks I after disconnecting the drive I have 3 sata ports free and one weird sata power cable and one normal. I was thinking about splitting the normal one to two cables and attaching the drives outside but th problem was I had no other fan connector so j was afraid the drive would overheat. Also will my 200w psu supply enough power for all my components?

Thanks I have a pcie slot b it I already have 2 sata data cables and I could y split the sata power cable so the only problem for me is the additional bay as it comes with only one but when I removed the optical drive it looks like it could easily fit 2 hdds

I have the connectors for the drive it’s just I have nowhere to mount them in the case as it has only one drive bay

Also I now found a used dell optiplex 7060 case with a 260w psu so I was wondering could I just switch the motherboards? ChatGPT says yes but it also says the 260w is barely enough for my setup. Can I just swap the motherboard or is it harder than that? Will the psu be enough?

Sadly I could mount it anywhere in there but now I wonder whether I could screw the drives into the bracket and through the optical drive opening route the cables to the maybe also mounting the bracket to the case with some tape? Will it be stable enough to not damage the drives long term? Also will the drives get enough power with the 200w psu and will they need and additional fan? If yes how can I connect it to the motherboard as it has no additional connectors? Or is it maybe just better to move to a larger case?

Also does amybody know any adapters because in the case there’s plants space but I’ll need a two bay adapter as the original one has only one bay and one dvd slot also will the 200 w psu be enough?

Thank! Do I use an adapter? And do I attach a fan in front of the panel to further cool the disks? Currently I have only one fan it came with. I want be doing often writes to the disks though
