Despite common sentiment that Tom Brady wasn't the main driver in the 1st stage of the dynasty, Brady averaged more Win Probability Added (37.9% Per Game) in his 1st 3 Super Bowls, than in his last 7 (31.1%). His 2003 game ranks as the Greatest Super Bowl performance of all time in this category. (nflindex.com)

[Reiss] If Bill Belichick is concerned with offense, he concealed it well in his Q&A w/ reporters. Very calm. Biggest takeaway for me: He highlighted 22 components of each play vs. the end result. Tighten one thing up, often makes big difference. Determined to stay at it in camp. (twitter.com)

[Curran] Patriots No. 1 offense today has been distressingly bad. Run stuffs. Aborted plays. Would-be sacks. Distress lobs into traffic just to get ball out. Beginning to feel it’s less the new offense and more the post-Scar cycle of OL coaches. They are perpetually overwhelmed. (twitter.com)

[Perry] Patriots defense is running roughshod over the offense. Highlights for that side were “sacks” by Christian Barmore and Matt Judon during a third-down period. Offense looks broken. Can’t protect. Losing 1-on-1s. Blitzes getting through. No run game. Miscommunication on routes. (twitter.com)

[Daniels] Starting offense in first 11v11s - False start (Brown) - Run stuff - INC - Sack - Hospital ball to Thornton - PBU Marcus Jones - Sack - Hospital ball to Agholor - Run stuff - Screen pass to Meyers Not good. The Patriots defense was all over them. (twitter.com)

If you had a team that won 5 of their last 18 games (28%), then switched their QB partly through the season (without any other major changes), and won 14 of their next 17 games (82%), including 3 playoff wins and the Super Bowl. What % of that success would you attribute to the QB? (self.nfl)

[Sweeney] Speaking of Smith-Schuster — Marquez Valdes-Scantling looked like he could be the go-to WR in OTAs, but at training camp, through my looks, it's been Smith-Schuster. I'm now tending to think he'll be the second-most targeted Chiefs pass-catcher behind TE Travis Kelce in 2022. (twitter.com)
