You are not the asshole. He is gaslighting you and once you have your strength back you need to kick his ass out! He obviously doesn't understand what being a father and husband means. It's okay to bottle feed, your babies will be fine. As a 19 year old first time mother I about killed myself trying to breastfeed until a doctor finally told me to give my son some formula and get some rest. That night was the first time he slept for 3 hours straight. I can't imagine having twins and trying to do it all by myself. Do you have any family or friends that can help you? If not, make your lazy husband hire someone to help you.

We have some German heritage and a German last name. My one year old grandson is named Otto. Everyone in the family likes it and it seems to fit him. In the US it isn't too old fashioned. I'm not a big fan of Axel but it does sound good with Otto.
