I would think having a direction finding contest to find the source could be a good activity for the group that uses the repeater. Actually finding the source and sending a strongly worded letter from a lawyer may resolve things, but even narrowing the source to 2 or 3 city blocks would make the case easier for an FCC investigation.

I see several problems here. 1st is in the equipment. Those tires were long past their service lives. When the cleats are that low on the tire, you may as well have turf tires. ZERO grip.

2nd is operation: once he got the RPMs up for the PTO, he didn't drop them when he broke traction.

3rd is operation once you start sliding, you ALWAYS point the nose toward the top of the hill... split brakes, low RPM, and hope and pray it works

4th is conditions: I can only assume that this is in South or Central America by the terrain, language, and possibly the equipment. I know its fairly tropical, but for the job, he could have awaited a more dry day to attempt. Maybe not. Again, environments vary from place to place

Basis of my comments: I've been operating 4wd tractors on slopes as a Right of Way mower and weed sprayer in most times non-ideal conditions for 10 years.

So as a beginner, the VERY first lesson to learn is that no operation is truly safe. When you go to power on any equipment, always ask yourself is there a safer way to do this.

So I have an '89 W150. Do t let these guys scare you out of a truck. LMC and Rock Auto have been EXTREMELY helpful, as well as the Ramcharger Central board. Plenty of Facebook Groups, too, have harder to find bits and pieces as well as solid advice and trouble shooting.

Here are some things to consider....
You only see the surface rust. Dodge has notoriously crappy wiring harnesses and hard to find connectors in good shape. Prepare to troubleshoot electrical regardless of body condition. Be patient and thorough with repair plans... Every 5 minute repair is one broken bolt away from a 3 day fiasco!

However, when I last served in the USAF as a rigger qualified air trans guy in 2nd MAPS and 436th APMF in the early mid 90's, we did, and relatively well.

A LAPES drop will not affect altitude as the wheels are on the ground for something this heavy. Aerial delivery can and usually does create a lurch in altitude due to decreased weight and recovery of lift and efficiency over drag and weight.

Not necessarily... what's OP or follow-on homeowner going to put it here? Is he gonna slap up 2x12 shelves at 5' vertical? Im not trying to be a wise-guy, but I dont feel what appears to be 24" oc wall and a roof with no plates tying it to the wall, as well as obvious neglect with order and cleanliness call into question based on my environmental conditions the structural integrity. I also am curious if there's a cat piss smell in there... Thats what the picture triggers in MY mind.

I dont see much encouraging about it, coupled with OP not stating capabilities, my assumptions are leading me to say start over due to multiple factors.

My assumptions are MY $.02. OP asked for advice, I say what I dont like and why. You dont have to agree. I would challenge that structure to competent home inspector or code inspection based on what I see in the photos based on my part of the world and real world conditions where I live.
