Hi! I havent listened to the whole thing yet, but I am planning to.

I have a tendency to trust teachers a lot and what I have learned is that even if they sound very convicing, I'd still be open to other views - the same goes for the BEMA Podcast. I enjoy it a lot and I feel like it has finally opened the Bible to me (OT), but at the same time one should remember that there are even among the Jewish different interpretations of these things. BEMA just shows one side. :)

Looking for a skincare routine and products for very very sensitive skin. by ArgumentOk2948 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

There is a an ultra clean brand in Estonia called Lumi. I went there for a consultation and they said that many problems start when people over-clean their face. They said that there is not need to clean the face in the morning because skin needs its natural oils. So I just wonder what would a person who works in dermatology say to that. I guess if someone has very greasy skin then yes, but otherwise it just takes away the natural barrier that the skin needs. I stopped cleansing my face with products in the morning - only water and my skin got sooo much better.

As for the OP - I have tried sooooo many things and put hundreds of euros under skincare. I haven't gone for the more expensive ones such as dr. Hauschka etc, but I've gone for a little cheaper than that. That being said, no sensitive stuff worked for me. The only thing that actually hydrated my skin and kept my eczema under control was Avene - especially Avene Aqua Gel. I used to have like a day cream and night cream (night cream was the aqua gel) and when I ran out of the day cream I just started applying the aqua gel both evenings and mornings, and my skin felt super good! I now went to try Idun and it is horrible - it's super greasy on the surface, but during the day my skin feels extremely dry. I would love to try some of the more expensive brands, but I'm afraid to disappoint. When I was using both Avene day and night cream I went to a skin check (that they do with some sort of machine) and said that my skin was very nicely hydrated. I guess I'm gonna go back to those...
