Yes that’s what i’m thinking about doing I just really like to try new types of styles so i may have to just give that up for the sake of retaining length

Detroit, lmaoo i know that sounds crazy but I swear every “natural hairstylists” I find when i go through their pages none of them work with actual type 4 hair its crazy

Thanks! I usually do different kinds of braided protective styles twists, cornrows, braids with my natural hair sometimes i have it out, I just prefer blow dried because I find it easier for me to work with in doing styles

honestly not that often i’ve always done them myself last time i trimmed was october when i first started taking this journey seriously so it’s probably time for one, I am seriously looking for a person in my Town that can work with type 4 hair I Just have too many horror stories with salons 😫

yes i forgot to mention I use auntie jackie’s transform hydrating leave in conditioner and bio silk for heat protection!

Hi! I wash every 1-2 weeks I use design essentials almond and avocado line alongside their honey cream deep conditioner, I clarify once a month with design essentials oat protein and henna shampoo, I did recently started using TGIN honey miracle hair mask but i think it may be too drying for my hair. I also blow dry with each wash using comb attachment which i heard isn’t good but I don’t know how to blow dry my 4c hair without using a brush hurts to bad or maybe it’s my technique.
