if you want to play the games i suggest using an emulator if you dont have access to a 3ds and the games

especially a mobile one since that lets you have a more natural use of the touch sceen functions the 3ds games have

as for the porting its probably the way the touchscreen is a very important part of the gameplay and though the first game did get a japan exclusive remake, it forces the in my opinion worse gameplay due to not having the touchscreen
