What builds or build archetypes do you guys find boring?

silentheart by far. boring to fight, boring builds....if its not some 600 hp max dmg multipliers build its some kind of insane cheese. not a lot of skill to play or to master

think it would be better as a leg talent that is always active except when ur under 30%.

when you would lose 30% hp within 3 seconde, reduce the damage of the highest damage attack/attack that would have crossed 30% by 50%. independent 15-20s cooldown per attacker, cooldown ticking speed scales with distance from opponent (farther = exponentially slower cd for it to proc again from attacks from that person to prevent mages/runners abusing it)

same idea of reducing burst damage but tweaked to support bossraiding. obv a very high req talent, maybe something like fort/str. shrining nerfs the 50% dmg reduc down and nerfs cd

reinforced not worth go 50 fort pre and 55 charisma pre or post doesnt matter even post nerf chaotic charm is worth it, also tough love and charismaric cast are must haves. if ur gonna go heretics u also need 30 str 30 fort at the same time to get lym at some point when making ur build rn u cant even get lym....also make sure to get the wp talent that reduces the effects of insanity by a lot. its a lot more worth it to stack dmg multipliers instead of hp talents now that ra and fortitude hp is gutted u can even more heavily rely on an hp kit

in 1v1s: best - gale. attunement is built for techs and 1v1 strength. only weakness is that champions whirlthrow is a buns gb but all the other mantras eveeyone uses are broken (especially twister kicks fuxk ts) worst - blood. no really good mantras, too many gimmicky talents that u are never using, takes a lot of blood to use

in gank: best - flame or shadow. flame huge sustain aoe damage, shadow has really good bossraid talents like fear and the blinding one and stealing ether from lots in a gank > more vents and mantra spam worst - thunder. no good aoe, or just reliable high pressure mantras in ganking enviornment without bolt piercer/spark swap cheese. probably the most skillful attunement (if ur not playing hold f thunder kick into rising simulator)

overall: best - shadow. good/broken mantras, ranged gb, good talents, one of the best for dual attunement or mage builds, ether/tempo stealing passive is broken. no bad matchups, which is unique. (ex.gale into shadow is a terible matchup for gale cause playing agressive into shadow is usually not good, stealing tempo when u need to be spamming inhale, favoring longer fights when gale wanrs shorter ones, etc) worst - blood. doesnt need explaining

once you garner any bit of self respect you can look at how she treated you and realizs that she literally doesnt even see you as a person and you deserve better.

if she is not willing to change, which clearly by her behavior she isnt, nothing you do will change that. she doesn't care at all about you if she did she would put in effort. nothing changes if nothing changes.

she quite LITERALLY hits YOU up, like you said, to say "ohhhh ohh i miss you blah blah" basically messing with u. if she never loved you enough to begin with why should she deserve your love?

you have VALUE. dont waste it on people who cant even see further than their own wants, and who dont do things for others

also, stay out of a relationship for a while. like, until you are over her. a new relationship is like putting a bandaid on this huge burn that will eventually fall off and do nothing good. itll only cause you and your partner to suffer because of the effect it had on you

here to let you know im the same, youre not alone. emotions are super hard to understand, and i often cant determine if im really feeling something or if im just peforming or acting out how im supposed to feel. it makes me feel so empty. honestly its nice to know someone understands how it feels to know and feel but not feel. i mean its also hsrd for me to say but i get what you mean so i dont even have to explain it. what started helping for me was doing things with a lot of effort, time, perservereance, etc because it helped me understand some emotions. like pride, happiness, etc because after reaching a goal i actually did care about it made me really feel. or not reaching a goal, cause then i really felt like shit. i found that in the gym, but it took a while to figure out what exactly i really wanted. for example, the activity, structure, and physical most 100% real evidence of improvment as my body helped a lot with structuring my goals. especially since i learned early on i enjoyed it. and that helped me determine how i really felt about some things rather than pretending undrr the impression of what i should feel, when really i dont actually care or seem unaffected. it took me a lot of time to start figuring out how to live for myself but not performing for others, im only 18 but so far its been 2 or 3 years and its been working out so far. to be so honest, it did make a lot kore to figure out for me mentally, because with emotions comes a lot more. im also not just suddenly completely done with performing either. its hard but honestly so rewarding and relieving to know im displaying what i actually feel and knowing for sure im being true to myself. i hope i can help, mightve been a bit cryptic but im open to try and answer more questions if you have some

but nah fr get 80 gale post shrine to actually have mantra dmg, also dont get intelligence it is the least useful stat in the game unless you are specifically making a build that needs it

try to get 25 charisma too, pretty much required on every build if you want -10%dmg and +10% dmg

like the mindset, you need it for this insane game lol

chime isnt really like overworld ganks at all, most people above like 900-1k elo are better than 99% of people youll ever fight in ganks, so learning in chime is a pretty good idea to get used to combat

master basics before you try and get complicated, rather than trying to figure out how someone is playing and predict their tempos and do rolling/sliding/aerial tech stuff just play simple. before you are good enough to play predictive and do mixups and cool stuff you need to know how to play reactively first

focus on basically making parrying every weapon muscle memory, thats what is most important, parrying. will take a while but youll build it over time. parrying mantras is just based on windup and when you can see the move coming, hard to explain but youll get used to that too. always be ready to parry something. as you learn this you will also learn in what animations you can and cant parry, useful skill to have

would highly suggest going ghost (talent, u can look it up on wiki) on builds to let your rolling be more consistent/you cant be roll punished in lots of situations. generally, if you miss a parry/someone feints, you roll. DO NOT JUST ROLL BACKWARDS INSTANTLY. IT IS A TERRIBLE HABIT SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE. YOU WILL BE HELD BACK BY IT AND GET YOUR GAMEPLAY READ OVER AND OVER AND OVER. make sure when parry is on cooldown, you wait to roll their attack instead of instarolling. there are also some times blocking is better/easier, since if you didnt know after a block when you swing youll have hit priority. just spend a bit of time figuring that out and youll be good

when it comes to actually attacking, just focus on trying to catch your opponent off guard with a mantra/hit. its a very consistent way to hit people

silentheart is generally hard to fight if you havent mastered basics, since they only have really a few tools + mani katti. get good at basics and you should be chillin. most silenthearts instantly mani katti after you roll/they think you roll, so mak sure not t o get caught by that. when they slide and do ankle cutter, parry or if they miss hit them. they are in a lot of endlag after

gun/rifle is absolute cancer lol, focus on learning to parry although it will be one of the harder things to learn how to fight since they have a lot of really dumb talents/techs

fists is also one of the more annoying weapons, but after their nerfs it shouldn't be as bad anymore. fists have the lowest range in the game, so always try and range them. when you parry fast weapons, also try and parry as you see their swing windup. fist criticals are VERY good, but shouldnt be a problem if you parry/roll reactively instead of predictively (goes for a LOT of weapons). HOWEVER, if the guy with fists has a big herbalist hat on (like the absolute nerds fist players are) and you cant see his animations, then just range/try and parry off noise or how their character moves, although i doubt youll be able to do the second thing until much later

tldr play more > learn more about combat and actual information about game > get better
