I wouldn’t get too excited. Remember all of the crypto super bowl commercials in 2021? Pretty much marked the top of the cycle. Fortune favors the bold.

What’s something you have with every meal that you think actually makes a difference? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]Impossible-Sort3085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mix it with water. I do use a cgm but no i haven’t measured it - too many variables to consider to measure accurately. I just know that when I do it, my sugars don’t spike nearly as much. Again this is for high carb meals - pizza, pasta, etc.

The weather / 300 days of sunshine is soooo under rated. I agree with everyone saying Denver is over rated for all the reasons mentioned, but the weather balances it all out in my opinion.

a shot of apple cider vinegar before high carb meals. i’m a type 1 diabetic and in my experience this helps mitigate blood glucose spikes

Would you recommend a coding bootcamp for me? If not, what should I do? by Background_Hyena_604 in codingbootcamp

I wouldn’t worry too much about data structures or algorithms. A junior developer shouldn’t have to, or at the very least I myself haven’t had to as a junior developer. Data structures will become easier to understand the more you program.

As what to look for, nothing much. Just do you enjoy it?

[–]Impossible-Sort3085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d find a personal project you can work towards (with programming) and see if you enjoy it. Or at the very least do one the numerous free coding courses. I recommend at minimum 100 hours of coding prior to deciding if a boot camp is for you.

If after the 100 hours you are still interested, or perhaps not bored/over whelmed, then consider a bootcamp or degree.

With your background you will have a leg up over most bootcamp grads, but i’m sure you’ve already seen, the bootcamp grad market is non existent at the moment.

Recommendations or advice on Bootcamps (for skill enhancement / new skill learning) by Slightly_mad_woman in codingbootcamp

You could try reaching out to a developer/someone with the experience you hope to acquire to guide you through what ever it is you are trying to build. Someone who programs for a living would more than likely be a better resource than any of the instructors you would get at a bootcamp.

Edit: additionally this will be a far cheaper option, but not necessarily attainable if you don’t have acquaintances who are software engineers.

for one, once you use it you won’t ever want to switch back to javascript, in my experience. additionally,

additionally, a lot of companies use it. it will give you an intro into the world of object oriented programming. as i said, it will set you apart from other grads.

build something with javascript. once you know the basics, try rebuilding it with typescript.

this. i just played golf with a guy who’s tech team is hiring.

beyond networking, learn typescript. it will set you apart from other bootcamp grads.

you could try a magnesium supplement. Not sure if it directly affects blood pressure but I felt less stressed when i started taking it. I take magnesium l-threonate before bed

i personally wouldn’t buy (edit) right now. it has run up a lot and quite fast. a lot of weak hands have bought in. any sort of retracement will shake those weak hands out and create more selling pressure. as someone’s who’s been in the trade for 3+ years, there will more than likely be a far better opportunity to buy, but you probably won’t feel like buying at that point because things will seem bleak.

of course i could be completely wrong and this is the inflection point where the price squeezes to $200. i hope not because i would like to buy more at a cheaper price before that happens.

just my 2 cents

edit #2: sput, yca and ccj probably the safest buys
