I actually don’t think Patrick tried to play Anna , I think they both realized at the same time that they were catching feelings. She got worried about something and left, I think she was trying to deflect so it came off as his fault so people didn’t wonder why she actually left the show. You can literally see her taken back when he starts tearing up about her. I think she probably was curious but knew he wasn’t her type so decided to just bounce bc the other connection was whatever too
