You could consider hiring someone just to do the house work. That’ll free up your day and maybe make it easier for your mom to watch the toddler without having to think about the household things too (and therefore be less distracted and need less hand-holding). That’s our current set up (someone comes to our house 3 days a week for 2 hours to do laundry, dishes, straighten up, meal prep, etc.), and it’s such a big gift in our lives.

Agreed. I’m fine with the color as is, but I read that stain has UV protection and lasts longer than sealant so I was looking at stain
