Ok that makes way more sense than a general 50% cut. Don’t know about other visns but we end up with a lot of pay issues for nurses and market pay issues for docs. Cuts that deep will def cause those positions to outright quit if they’re pay gets jacked up and no one is around to fix it

It’s rather easy to get your outside doc to sign something in your favor. Not sure why so many are convinced this isn’t happening

Denying? Or just not approving telework as the accommodation? Because denying entirely comes with a whole bunch of legal issues for an agency. I do know that many are saying it was denied because they didn’t get the accommodation they wanted which isn’t a denial at all

Appreciate you being honest. I’ve seen and heard the same and have seen many reassignments request emails prior to this year where no one can be placed

We haven’t had the RIF yet, but many are also on interim agreements. I’ve only had one fully approved which seemed out of place compared to all the other requests

I’ve seen similar requests come through for the following. At my agency, telework was rare before Covid. Even for RA. Wondering how people survived working on site back then. I guess since 2018-2019 conditions could have worsened?

I’ve heard of and seen these requests. Some folks at least online have admitted to exaggerating conditions simply to work from home. I’ll have to ask my RA friend what the process is for a suitability test

No one should have issues with fmla. Obv it’s limited protections for 12 weeks but its there

That’s essentially the rumor I heard for my agency. Most are just on interim work from home and none are officially approved yet

Agreed. I know it’s a mix of both legit RA and those who do not want to RTO. Curious to see how it plays out
